No, this is a war of politics, let's call it what it is. It's not a war of science — this isn't about "how much energy does this cost to use", but "how much political effort does it take to stop the powers that pour methane and CO2 into the global drain?"

I was thinking more about the fact that once you take into account the energy requires to drive this gadget, the #eroei of the primary source is likely negative (since most #fossilfuels are already circling the drain at just over 1.0 – we burnt the good stuff decades ago)
