@aldergroves I saw Sweeney Todd in Seattle in April and now I’m positively obsessed with it. I keep replaying the duets and quartets that have Johanna’s and Antony’s parts.
I love how ridiculous the lyrics are, but if you’re only listening to the musical elements, you really start to believe that it is the greatest love story known to humanity
So it had the most beautiful music to my ears if any musical I’ve seen - and the horror themes don’t hurt
