Chris Pitts@steve_smith @tdpauw I don’t think any one of them can now win outright. The downfall of Twitter has poisoned the market, revealing the true nature of centralised commercial systems like Bluesky etc (we suspected it, but Muskrat has exposed its ugly, predatory nature). I am now extremely suspicious of any system that operates that way, and I suspect I am not the only one who shall be avoiding the big corporates in favour of distributed, collaborative spaces like Mastodon in the future
@steve_smith @tdpauw Oh, and welcome. It’s friendly around here, with sensible grown up discussions, and no ads or algorithms leading anyone’s thinking, which might seem weird at first (symptomatic of how insidious these corporate systems are)
