@BeautifulSunPhotography Oh gosh, I love that one too, even though I only watched it once. Hmmm, Frozen 2, Encanto, the new Haunted Mansion is very good! Princess and the Frog and Lilo & Stitch. Not sure how recent, lol.

@SingingNala Awesome! What's your favorite Trek series? Mine is DS9, with Voyager a close second. As for new Trek, I quite liked Prodigy, though I haven't seen all of it.

@Fragglemuppet @SingingNala I'm old enough to have been around when #StarTrek was first aired. Really wasn't into it then. I've just started watching from the beginning in chronological order. Done the two (!) pilots and about half way through the first series. So I'll give you my considered opinion in about six months time.

@robparsons @Fragglemuppet Oh yes. The two very different pilots. I would have liked to see more of Pike in the original series. I started out by watching TNG, but the original series has some great prequel material and backstory.

Prodigy is worthy. We have a kid of the appropriate age, which added to it, but it's a good story.

I was oddly taken with one of the newest ones "Strange New Worlds"

Which is Pike and the previous crew before James T. from ToS, with modern special effects.

The pitch at Paramount was "Hey guys, let's do Star Trek, and hear me out, but make it...Star Trek!"

@Fragglemuppet Ok I remember my old teddy ruksbin tape player, It was a toy, you'd open the back of it and pop one of the tapes in and he'd read the books to you. The most creepy thing however, was playing the classical music tapes on it though, his mouth would move when the violins would play.

@Fragglemuppet How would you rate the blind-accessibility of star trek shows like TNG, Enterprise, and Voyager? As in, how well can you tell what's going on in any particular scene, or moment-to-moment?

Have you seen the more recent Star Trek Discovery, Picard, and Strange New Worlds?

If so, how would you say their blind-accessibility compares to the older shows?
