Twitter, Nostr, and every other libertarian free speech wet dream platform seem determined to demonstrate this over and over again.

@ethanschoonover I don't get the sense that they were the moderators of the old BBSs, SIGs and forums. They were the ones who needed moderating—or who avoided the well-moderated sites and took root in places like 4chan that didn't mind being radioactive compost heaps.
