My god. The New York Times Opinion section is giving space to full-on fascist Chris Rufo to push his agenda — to push lies in service of, yes, the F word: fascism.

Look, I try to be measured. But this is a five-alarm fire for US democracy. This is like publishing Goebbels in 1934.

This is as bad as publishing Tom Cotton, and the Opinion editors should lose their jobs for it.

NYT has ten million subscribers, and approximately 9.99 million do not have time to read media criticism in depth. /1

@protecttruth Why do you try to be measured when we've clearly been headed into full-blown fascism for more than half a decade, and tip-toeing into it for decades?

It's the measured care of white men, especially, that have dragged us down and onto this brink.

@protecttruth the New York Times hasn’t changed one lick since its 1922 “New Popular Idol Rises in Bavaria” piece. It was, and remains, a key piece in promoting fascism. This isn’t an accident, or a change in policy, or done out of ignorance. It’s promotion of the ideology the New York Times has always espoused.
