Proposing new terminology for Native Apple Platforms Development:

#NAPDev
🧑‍💻 “NAP Developer”

#iOSDev: Applies to non-native like Flutter + doesn’t cover platforms like macOS/visionOS

#SwiftUIDev: Doesn’t cover other native Apple frameworks like UIKit/ARKit/RealityKit

@Jeehut Suitable, as I do get great ideas after a nap 😴 Another option is #AppleDev.
@nighthawk @Jeehut Apple Dev has the same issue as iOS Dev, namely that Flutter, React etc. can also fall into that category.
@melgu @Jeehut How about #CocoaDev? That's the underlying tech for native Apple development and a bit more charming and self-explanatory than NAP.

@nighthawk @melgu We should opt for something future-proof and obvious. The name “Native Apple Platforms” is extremely straight-forward and is technology-independent. Who knows if Apple still uses Cocoa. Don’t forget that ARKit and RealityKit are also here.

NAP is just a shortcut that we’ll get used to.
