Massive bidding war for a donair costume is continuing in #Alberta. Fun Fact: The costumewas at BunMum’s disposal when it was at her department originally, but she opted not to wear it..

Another odd fact: Edmonton could be the donair capital of Canada with over 100 donair shops and more offered at restaurants, rivalling Halifax, which is the birthplace of the #donair.

@servantofsows The other thing Edmonton is known for is our green onion cakes. So many places make them, and they’re a staple at summer events! There is a Green Onion Cake Man who first introduced them to Edmonton, as a matter of fact.

BunMum and BunDad will be making some in the next few weeks following his recipe. The second pic is from the last time we made them. 😊💚
