test fit, #radium fuel rail, 1.6L, stock intake, damper and regulator with guage on.

ooo she is a tight one, but with the lifting lug removed and the ground relocated, rotating the wire loom - it does fit.

Little break ... then see if she leaks fuel everywhere!

While apart, I ran some carb cleaner though the fuel injectors. They also have new rings/seals and micro filters.

the before/after. New fuel rail on top. I think I was having some issues with the old fuel pressure regulator, hence the upgrade. There is of course 0 needs for this on a 90 RWHP 1.6L. These are parts for 'the future'. Do look great in the sun though.

and... finalize by cleaning up the vacuum hoses, replacing all the white zip-ties with black ones, and shifting the chafing pieces on the coolant re-route hose.

Next up, weather permitting, is a modest fuel pump update ( Walbro 190LPH ).

mmm well, switched the dampener vac hose on the front there to the other barb after. Rumour has it the angled barb has a check valve (goes to charcoal filter purge valve). The other one should not (goes to cruise control stuff).
