So after sorting my slightly haphazard art sale today I managed to go somewhere very special to me and do something that I haven't managed since before the pandemic 💚
I have all sorts of cameras and film options in the house, but my wee anxious heart needed my favourite camera and lens combination, Sigur Rós, and Ilford Delta 400 - so that's what we did.
Also the Kibble Palace is indeed open to 6pm and they had the windows open for nice clean air, hooray!

I was at the gig in the Hydro last November, my first time venturing out to something like that since the pandemic. Masked up and tucked myself into an empty-ish corner up at the back.
It was everything I could possibly have hoped for and I'm so glad I went!

The only thing I don't like so much about the EOS 300 (v) is that it needs #CR2 batteries. Mine are always empty very quickly in winter. Unfortunately I have not yet found any corresponding #rechargeable batteries.
Still, it's fun to work with thar pretty little thing! 😉
@heikofotografiert they're such weird little batteries, like somebody sawed some AAs in half 😆
And yes, I always carry spares now
@moragperkins Yes, just a little thicker than AA and with 3V instead of 1.5V (1.2V rechargeable). Unfortunately. 😀
I have to search again. I mean, there were 'RC2' batteries years ago, they were actually only intended for e-pipes / e-zigs. But if they work... 😉
