Hi mastodon! With the collapse of twitter I've lost much of my reach for finding clients 😔

I'm a disabled artist & commissions are my primary source of income, and I just contacted the last people on my queue today—which means after I finish their commissions I won't have any further income

@scharlieze In my experience, the audience that I had has left the site—I've had a steady stream of clients for the past two years, but following Musk's acquisition it has been dwindling and ran out for the first time this month and engagement on my tweets has drastically dropped. This is my lived reality, twitter is no longer working for me, and the same goes for other artists I know.

@harrie you should try blue check for a month, its realy boosting impression and will benefit artist . Mastodon has very small mdau and its heavily focused on politics
