Squeezed this one in at the end of our Sunset Sketchers meetup on Saturday at the 17th & Kirkham RESIST wall.

A lot of time stuff comes out better when you don't have time to think about it.

Damn, the patchiness of your colours is great. Looks so efficient. Is this just one layer? Fairly dry bush?

@naught101 Thanks! I think what this one has going for it is two things: first, a pretty big brush. I mostly use a No. 10 sable travel brush when I'm out sketching in the field. And second, that I didn't have time to think about what I was doing.

I just finished kind of a meh longer sketch, and we had only 15 or 20 minutes left in our 2-hour Sunset Sketchers meetup. One of the Skechers was (obligingly 😉) standing in profile without moving so I just scribbled this whole thing. Don't remember too many of the particulars, except that I tried not to overdo it.
