When choosing teams in sports, someone must be picked last. Do not be ashamed if you are! Everyone has a role to play, and a team that only has eyes for its stars is blind to the power of its planets and moons!

As a perennial last pick, I wish someone had said this to me when I was in school...
@coachgowron That was me. I was "that Star Trek kid," so I was always picked last.
@coachgowron
I was always picked last, as I am part cyborg, and that technology was not very good prior to 1975 CE, when I started my schooling.
@coachgowron I tell Brian something like this. He gets picked last in wiffleball, so I tell him if he gets a hit, and scores a run, he can pick the bat up and smash the captain's foot with it. You know, for glory.
@coachgowron TWW: Your body is the vessel that carries your life, all are different and all are flawed. Whatever the size or type or flaws it was created for you by those who have come before you. It exists to provide you a way to use your gifts and express your will. *On the asphalt with the chain link nets, still hear that sound, we actually tried to pick teams evenly and be sure all the kids played a role, until sunset when full contact ruled. It was an education. OWOP

As a round, crater-faced moon kid who can shine only when everyone else has left the sky for the night, I just want to say someone put my gym skant in the sonic toilet again, coach.

I think it’s Sirius this time.

@coachgowron
I was always picked last, and always took it personally. Then I found out it wasn't personal.

For some unknown reason I was pretty good at speedball. Suddenly I was being picked earlier. Eventually I was one of the first being picked.

I wasn't being picked last because they didn't like me, I was being picked last because I wasn't good. Until I was.
