Japan vending machines are like "There's an app for that", except for vending machines
Let me encounter a beer vending machine in USA, much less an ice cream one or a ramen one (I mean a ramen one that doesn't just serve Maruchan or Nissin Cup Noodle instant noodles dry)
USA did have some beer vending machines, but that stopped over 40 years ago and it tended to only be on military installations where you really do need to imbibe, especially if you're enlisted and stuck on base
(I was at Keesler during the very end of the lower drinking age in Mississippi, so while there weren't beer vendors anymore, I just used The Vandy!)

What I'd love to see are more #electronics #VendingMachines just selling basic essentials like a #Powerbank, #USB-C cables, Top-Up vouchers for #Prepaid cards and potentially #StupidPhones!
