Ironically this sick sad story breaks on the anniversary of the launch of Twttr as an #SMS comms service back in 2006. I remember as I was bartending this #SOMA #Hoedown themed #StartUp party and guys from phone to mp3 #podcast platform Odeo started letting influencer guests in on their new proj ...a group txt msg chat concept...

@andrew supposedly they decided iTunes was an Odeo killer Evan Williams was the CEO, fired almost everybody but Jack & made the pivot to Twitter. There's a dude named Noah Glass that came up with name, & did early work w/ a German programmer, both ruthlessly cut out of deal...
