“Reports like this make it harder for #PR and #advertising agencies to claim that they genuinely thought they were helping a #FossilFuel client decarbonize,” he told DeSmog, referring to the new World Benchmarking Alliance/CDP analysis. “I don’t think they ever were truly that naive, but now there’s really no excuse. @CelloMomOnCars unsurprising that all of our climate wishing has been met with climate washing. Let's hope really hard for a new product we can buy that will make our lifestyle sustainable (no not an e-bike) and keep wishing until water flows uphill.

Of course the #FossilFuel industry goes greenwashing, misinformation, deflection: they follow the #tobacco playbook.

But so do the litigators: they're going to nab the climate criminals for lying.

@CelloMomOnCars e-bikes are the exceptional EV. They fit into your existing budget and garage, don't ruin cities with parking vs housing, safely take kids to school and carry groceries, whatever the half of car trips that are under three miles. Unfortunately we have to sue the govt to make them stop coercing people into cars with streets designed to make cars scary fast between one red light to the next. It's like you can choose to sit in the smoking section or the flamethrower one.
