Before working in #HealthCare I knew that #SystemicDiscrimination is a massive issue in the entire industry. But I was blown away by how #discriminatory many of those employed in the field are. A white nurse told me that #Indigenous people were more #racist towards white people than vice versa. When I challenged her she was completely unaware of the realities Indigenous people still face in #Canada. Management also did not care when I brought this up and instances of #transphobia I experienced.
