#JoanIsAwful is an excellent #BlackMirror episode; the funniest episode of the series.

It retains the dark, bleak spirit but adds a light touch of sweetness, hope, and a bit of the good part of humanity.

#CharlieBrooker may have been stuck trying to come up with new stories to tell, so I'm glad and impressed he found a new way to highlight a stark version of our reality thoughtfully and profoundly, made easier for us to consider with humor.

#LochHenry was really good, and I love the ending, but the whole segment with Pia and what they did to her really lowers the overall quality of the episode.

It's..not good, what they did. At all.

Really puzzling and has me wondering...

@ricardoharvin You mean, that she just … died? Yeah, with that built-up unnecessary. If Janet killed her … well. I think, it was included because it added to the last scene. But yeah, it didn't feel fitting the way it was executed.
@shaedrich Exactly. She was built up to be key, and then her death was ??? and had no other relevance except as a throwaway comment at the end, and not a crucial piece to the bizarre story.
@ricardoharvin Well, besides the comment, there was the fact, that Davis didn't just lose his mother (okay, are murderer and whatnot) but also his girlfriend (innocent). He was the only one who just couldn't be happy about the success.
But yeah, the problem might be, while it is Davis' family's story, Pia is the dominant character of the two, taking the active part, while Davis tags along passively and stuff mostly just happens to him.
