Tomorrow is Day 1 of testing new 1-rep max! I’ll do one session in the morning, the next session later in the day to give myself some recharge time. I’m going to do Overhead Press and Deadlift. Sunday will be Day 2 of testing with benchpress and squat! Current goal is to hit previously tested numbers - they’re old, I’ve had a few injuries since testing them, so breaking even shows full recovery! UPDATE: I hit my OHP target of 165!! I did make a go of 170, but I just couldn’t get the bar past eye level. It seems like I should have been able to by how 165 moved (heavy but unimpeded), but …. I’m beyond being surprised at what a profound difference in difficulty just 5 pounds can make for shoulder stuff. Anyway, WOO!
