@bgtlover Really, it's a reference to just about every new social network I've joined, e.g. Twitter in the early days, Facebook, Ello, Clubhouse, Mastodon (I gather for quite a while) and now Threads.

Not even the least interested in giving free goods to threads for them to monetize.

@robcottingham If you eliminate the invite stupidity of developers who are scared of bugs so they makes it hard for people to show up and replace it with a one click follow of everyone you ever partied with and all those people start showing up right away, that's what Threads did that all the fake "decentralized" social networks weren't able to do.
