I've emailed the seller in the hopes they still have a copy of the magazine and would be willing to send a photograph of the section, it's a long shot but it's my only lead currently
I never got a response, but i have refreshed motivation to research this even more, and maybe even make a video essay out of it

An interesting note i found: The oldest instance i've found has slightly different wording, instead of "the missile knows where it is at all times", it says "the missile knows where it is going at all times"
There's a chance I may have my hands on a copy of the Assegai, if I do, I'll make sure to scan and archive all of it on archive.org
Well heck, i just realized something: there are a bunch of copies of the Assegai, and I have no clue which one contains the missile copypasta, all I can confirm is that it had to exist around or before 1965
