Question 1: why does no one who exposes himself to the position "we can easily handle Meta" considers to react on https://ploum.net/2023-06-23-how-to-kill-decentralised-networks.html and delivers arguments why this statement is not correct?

Question 2:
If it would be so highly appreciable that millions of Meta users subscribe to the Fediverse - why do they have to do this via "Threads"? Can't they just register on any Fediverse Instance they like and start going? Why do we need Zuckerberg's crap and for what?
