Edward laughs as he packs away the treasure that they stole from those rich twats. He reaches up to untie his hair, the grey waves cascading around his face. “Oh that was great,” he grins. “We should do this more often.”
Stede’s reply is curt and short. “We’re not doing this again.”
“What, because of the dress? We can get Izzy to wear it next time—”

“Not because of the dress, Edward.” Stede tugs at the corset but fails to open it. Izzy rolls his eyes and tries to focus on rowing. No fucking way is Stede getting out of that dress until they’re back on the Revenge.
Still, after a beat, Edward sits up straight and looks at Stede. “Wait, Edward? Hold up, why are you mad at me?”
Stede doesn’t reply as he flings the satin gloves to the bottom of the dinghy.

“He’s mad—” the words come out strained as Izzy pulls on the oars, taking them further from the ship with every word. “—because you fucked that lady whatever-the-fuck her name was.”
“Agatha,” Ed says absentmindedly. He stares at Stede. “But you said you were alright with it?”
Stede huffs and does an obnoxious little shake of his head. “Yes, well, I suppose I we all learned something today, didn’t we.”

“But…” Edward glances at Izzy and Izzy can’t help but grit his teeth. These two twats are utterly ridiculous.
“But you fucked Izzy,” Ed continues and Stede clicks his tongue.
“That’s different, Ed!”
“What, so you can fuck around but I can’t?”
“Yes! No! I don’t—”
“So, if I wanted to fuck Izzy, I couldn’t?”

Izzy fumbles the next pull of the oars. He momentarily loses his grip on one of them and it’s loud and awkward when it lands on the waves, sending a cold spray of water on all of them. “Wha—Ed!”
“Shut up, Iz. Stede?” Ed’s focus is razor sharp.
“I—” Stede has the good grace to look away. “I wouldn’t—wouldn’t be opposed to that.”
“Hey—!”
“Good,” Ed says, a grin spreading over his features. He finally looks at Izzy. “That’s good, isn’t it, Iz?”
