I joined Mastodon in November, posted a bunch for 2 months, and then stopped I wasn't finding much discussion about #photography which I was looking for at the time, just lots of people posting their shots.I hadn't really figured out how I wanted to use Mastodon outside of looking for discussion.

Now, I'm back. I'm just going to post about whatever I happen to be #geeking out about at the moment. If I can spark up conversation, that would be great. Otherwise, this will just be my place to share

@ahdchild keep digging every now and then. I’ve been here 5 years now and am *still* uncovering little circles of hobbyists relevant to my interests.

If you really can’t find anything, just start posting the type of content/questions yourself, make good use of hashtags (since discoverability in this place, sadly, fully relies on) and hopefully others will start speaking out.

Now that I describe it that way, we are all very much unique birds trying to find our kind in the jungle.

@ahdchild not a professional type photographer muself, but do enjoy taking and looking at photographs.
@ahdchild @skinnylatte discusses photography (in particular her learning how to develop film and recently using new film), there are also a lot of casual dog photos though, so you need to be prepared for maximum cuteness when you view her feed
@ahdchild throwing you a follow. Looking to talk more photos, gear, and 3D printing too.
