I made a mistake and started doing proper pasta bolognese (although I added garlic and basil even though the recipe told me not to) and didn’t realize that it takes 2-3 hours to cook. I’m hungry now though so I gotta make something quick to fix that problem and then I can eat again later.

Also I gotta say, I’m making it with red wine and it smells friggin amazing so I assume when the time comes this’ll all be worth it in the end. It has to be. Everything depends on it.

Next time I’ll try to pay more attention on the actual cooking time and choose something a bit more sensible.

I mean I intended to make ragu first but that fucker would’ve been 6 hours, which my brain somehow did manage to register to be absolutely ridiculous for a work-week meal prep time.

@taxet it will be DELICIOUS I’m sure but yeah, a slow cook. At least you’ll be hungry, too - it’ll taste extra-good!
@littlecageling I think you might be right. Not sure if it’s the hunger speaking or what but at the moment this tastes like it could very well be the best food I’ve done ever. Definitely adding this recipe in the notebook, but next time I’ll probably cook it on a weekend so I have more time to enjoy it. 😅
