@stux @stux @knittingknots2 Or create your own server… it’s quite easy, just use Masto Host (https://masto.host/pricing/) for only $6 a month or if you have your own server give GoToSocial (https://docs.gotosocial.org/en/latest/) a try… be free and enjoy your new earned freedom!

Is trust based… you never know what an admin does and doesn’t do. Also you got only so much freedom of speech as the admin gives you… so my advise join a Fediverse you really trust or know personally who is running it.

@420 @knittingknots2 That would always be the best option indeed!  

The more instances spread out the better   But ofc not everyone can pay for this or even set it up or want to set it up so options are needed

@stux @knittingknots2 True, so it’s always nice to have folks like Stux that offer a place to sign up. I just sometimes think that instances are getting to big. Like mastodon.social… their nearly at a million users resulting in giving that instance way to much power.
