Do you know any #FursuitMaker (very prefered to be active here) who wants to build unusual #FurSuit in alternative materials? For example a literal #WaterCreature as a #Neoprene Suit #WetSuit?

Lett Osprey@crazy_pony Maybe you could take a peek in the mermaid tail-maker communities. There are some very talented peeps there that works with neoprene / swimmable silicon :)

In some years past i tried two times, but got bad/angry answers (hope this translates right) that i have injured the core values of mermaiding when i asked for a two-leg two-fin suit and not a monofin mermaid tail
@crazy_pony that probably ment that those people were not able to do it :P If you message me and tell me what you are thinking of, we could possibly ask some peeps, we know foras to ask where the response would not be that way :P

Ja ich habe bei Arok ein paar Projekte für Köpfe und hoffentlich auch andere Teile laufen aber er ist ja ehr ähm... nichtlinear... in seiner Arbeit
Volle Latexkörper haben absolut ihren Reiz, aber sind nicht für ernsthafte Aktivitäten im Wasser brauchbar

Das Drachensuitprojekt mit ihm ist schon länger abgehakt weil eben wie ich vorhin schrieb das nicht im Wasser funktionieren würde, dafür stehen die anderen Bestellungen gar nicht drauf

One of these ideas is a neopren "fur" suit for the water

@Neybulot oh i do have even more special plans :) but thats stuff i am less open to make public until i have suit makers to really trust
Alopex@crazy_pony I've long had this dream of building an otter fursuit on top of a wetsuit base and then going out and doing stuff like kite surfing.
Of course I'd have to LEARN how to kite surf first, but it would be SO WORTH IT!
@alopex i would not even trying to go surfing :) not the type for this kind of fast action activities
@crazy_pony You could also just lounge on the beach eating sushi. Maybe go in for a dip when you need to cool off. 🍣 😋
