Russian milblogger Rybar claims that Ukrainian forces have made gains on the outskirts of Robotyne, "fighters of the 1430 regiment of the Russian Armed Forces retreated to reserve positions on the left flank"

"[Ukrainian forces were] able to penetrate approximately 300 meters"

@osinttechnical I guess those were quite important 300 meters (eg a hardened defensive line). If UA can exploit this, we soon may see a few towns liberated soon.
@mblmk @osinttechnical Unfortunately, after that 300 m there are another kilometers of defensive lines. RUS had a long time to prepare this.
@osinttechnical how many defense lines they have and how it goes..is this first line of defense the most important and assuming the next ones are much more easier to penetrate?

@Cristi_an @osinttechnical

Defence lines are only useful if you have troops to man them, and equipment for the troops.

@Cristi_an @osinttechnical You can use DeepState map to see the prepared defensive lines. https://deepstatemap.live/en#6/49.438/32.053 press the small castle/sentry post icon on the bottom left. Right now they are hitting more ad-hoc trenches we are seeing in the videos. Once they get to about Orlynske they will have hit the serious lines. Once they break through anywhere on these, all hell will break loose. Slava Ukraini!

Couldn't Russia continuously build new defensive lines in their rear, while Ukraine slowly takes areas in the front? Is Ukraine advancing quicker, than Russia can build these defenses?

@Cristi_an @osinttechnical Unfortunately, RUS had many months to prepare defense lines in Zaporizhzhia. This is not even the first line, but a "crush zone" to soften attacking forces. After that, there is between 3 to 5 defense lines, depending on the path.
