Judge Jackson recusing herself from the Harvard affirmative action case despite zero financial benefit to her staying on, & Alito, Thomas, & Barrett refusing to recuse themselves from numerous cases where they gained significant financial benefit, tells you everything you need to know about progressive integrity & conservative corruption. #ExpandTheCourt
@QasimRashid We're going to continue to witness our nation's downfall as long as we're playing by two sets of rules.
@QasimRashid don’t you think Dems should be playing a little more strategically considering our failure to win on policies is causing our democracy to slip away? Republicans don’t care if you tell them “we have more integrity than you” when they’re rapidly consolidating power and we’re just glorifying well-written dissents
@QasimRashid I mean it does do that, but it also tells me she should stop recusing in those cases herself.
@QasimRashid @cstross The side who believe in principles pull their punches, while the side who believe in power and domination stuff their gloves with horseshoes

@QasimRashid

Jackson should not have recused herself. That was a foolish decision.

@davidhmccoy @QasimRashid perhaps it is time to keep our integrity, yet fight to hurt.

@locksmithprime @QasimRashid

We should always keep our integrity. I just think the fact that she’s black and went to Harvard 30 yrs ago doesn’t give her a conflict of interest.

The Dems yield too much.

@davidhmccoy @QasimRashid I agree. Once we are in the fight, debate is over. When did talking ever work with bullies? One talks to a bully after the bully's face is properly rearranged.

@locksmithprime @QasimRashid

100%. And frankly, when you want to keep me from voting or going to school, I don’t see much room for conversation.

Hopefully, these events will show people that yes! Not voting does have consequences, so let’s do what people protested and died for.

@QasimRashid Tells us that democrats and liberals are more obsessed with hollow impotent formality than about doing anything to help the people in the US suffering and dying as a result of GOP policies.

@QasimRashid

The right doesn't care. It's really really hard to understand if you do care... but they don't care about this system or its "integrity" one little bit.

They are too desperate because they are outnumbered and they see "the will of the people" as wrong and against the natural order so they will impose what is correct on all of us "for our own good" (but really for their own good at our expense)

@QasimRashid she’s one of the few with a conscience

@QasimRashid

And if you really want to be incense, listen to the judges talking about one of the cases they just recently ruled on. It was about an individual in Colorado who was harassing a musical artist the female musical artist. And they refuse to hear it and they send it back down. But if you listen to what they were saying they were just mocking the whole situation. These guys are assholes

@QasimRashid R SCOTUS: I’ll do whatever benefits me and the party, ethics be damned! D SCOTUS: country and people and laws over everything! What a freaking mess! #ExpandTheCourt

@QasimRashid

... progressive integrity ...

or, alternatively, bringing a feather to a gun fight

@QasimRashid aaaaand unfortunately that’s not working out so well
@QasimRashid I really hope the Dems stop letting the senate gop use the blue card rule to block nominees McConnel used it to block Obama then just didn’t allow Dems to use it when the gop held the majority now the Dems are letting the gop use it again… it’s idiotic
@QasimRashid it also tells you how the left continues to lose because they refuse to accept the ugly political reality and won’t play the game.
