I'm thrilled to announce that I passed the #AWS Solution Architect Professional certification exam yesterday. For my Red Hat friends, this is kinda like getting your #RHCA certification. It's an incredibly difficult, 3 hour and 10 minute exam. I've read there is a 72% failure rate, although I don't know how true that is. I finished at about 3:08, and was 100% convinced I'd failed it. Whew!
@ThomasCameron512 congratulations! šŸŽ‰šŸŽ‰
@ThomasCameron512 wow, congratulations! šŸ‘šŸ˜Š I’m planning to get AWS certification as well. šŸ™‚
@asrob you absolutely should! It's very different from Red Hat certification. All word problems, no labs, just a LONG explanation of the desired setup and conditions, then a bunch of solutions which all initially seem like they might work. You just have to triple check the solution against best practices and conditions. And with Red Hat, you perform tasks in the context of the tech you're testing on. With AWS it's dozens of technologies covered in one exam. Storage, network, security, etc. 😳
