@SimonSays Yes, backwards compatibility is a must! It's why the 3DS is still one of my favorite consoles, handheld or not.

@Brian I *think* Nintendo knows that backwards compatibility would be a good business decision for a Switch successor. There are plenty of games that would continue to sell well on an upgraded system.
