However most presentations focus on the technology-justice nexus, with public values, racism, algorithms, AI, inequity, regulation and governance as keywords, and analyses being sociological and politicological. I wonder whether we are not missing the money part. 1/2
2/2 #pubconf23 #pubconf2023 Shouldn't we be working on more awareness of the business models of the new services/products in AI, surveillance and big tech generally? Can we follow the money to see what drives it. If we only regulate to minimise harm but do not touch on the business models, aren't we leaving the tap open?
