Ian Stuart@GottaLaff I see some people seem to dislike her candidacy but I for one am glad she is running (and I wish there were many more democratic presidential candidates). I actually think it would be better for #democrats if #Biden wasn’t running for re-election because then more people would likely be in the primary race.
That the #DemocraticParty has no plans for debates is shameful.
For a new election Biden should have to convince the country again that he is standing for their values.

@GatekeepKen @GottaLaff Having #PrimaryDebates is a healthy part of #democracy. #Democrats should be working/wanting to get the party excited about the future. My judgment is that critiquing #Biden is likely to make him a stronger candidate because it usually forces him more to the left. Center politics has the effect of making voters apathetic and apathetic voters stay home. #2024elections #2024election #Dems #USpolitics

Biden won't see your "Judgement" but many of people in the middle will. You are creating doubt .Biden doesn't need to be stronger, so your "Judgement" that he's weak is not welcomed.

I didn’t say Biden was weak. I simply think we should be able to criticize him on things he hasn’t focused on enough.
Frankly, too, at his age there is a real statistical risk that Biden could become unable to perform his duties before his second term would end. How would #KamalaHarris govern if she were acting president? I’m not convinced she is progressive enough for my liking.
