Following a many-month investment in #NeutralMilkHotel’s work, I’m diving deeper into the Elephant 6 collective. First up was #TheGerbils, mainly because I love #ScottSpillane.

‘The Battle of Electricity’ has a little bit of everything I like about 00s indie rock. Instrumental parallels to Aeroplane Over The Sea. The second record reminded me a lot of groups that would follow such as #TheWeakerthans.

I’ll revisit both of these records for sure.
