I’m kicking off another early morning #LeveeRide. It’s been a while since I’ve made time for a longer ride, so let’s see how far I can go.
And apparently the levee becomes private property in St. James…? Guess I’m heading back early 😅
In the end, I didn’t go as far as I hoped, but not a bad ride. Now I can feel better about avoiding the sun for the rest of this miserably hot weekend 🥵
Tim Ruppert 🌻@riverrat Not all levees are open the public. Some are used by industry along the river, and some areas are fenced and gated for grazing farm animals.
