In open disclosure, I'm an American, White, #Scottish kilt-wearing highlander descended (❤️ single malts, fish & chips & haggis). I sport a handlebar mustache in memory & out of respect for my late father, whose avocation was a magician.

In real life, I am a remarried widower with a teenager, financially stable & work full time as a tenured #research #scientist /manager in high energy #physics & #engineering . #Greymuzzle & #FurryGeezer are voluntary words & signs of affection. Use by young furs as derogatories shows their ignorance, prejudice & disrespect. #greymuzzle is a self taken sign of maturity & enjoying better things in life. Also I'm now an involuntary member of #FurryUndead , as I've been defibrulated 6+ times, & still alive. So, if your heart ever stopped - then restarted, you can be #furryundead .

@Ferles - Re: #FurryGeezer - the real origin goes back to when the late, great friend of mine "Jugular Jaguar" (aka Draconis or Loren McLaughlin) discussed older furries sitting on lawnchairs and watching the grass grow, & yelling/telling youngsters to "Stay off my lawn!" (see also recent "touch grass!" arguments.)
