My parent's house is a treasure trove of technology archives to uncover.

I particularly like how it includes "Microsoft Bookshelf" with offline dictionaries & thesaurus. And don't forget "Microsoft Schedule+"!

@kurtsh I still catch myself saying "Let me send you an S+"
@dalehirt If your name is on the wall, I guarantee you still say, "Send me a S+" every so often. Remnants of another time... y'know, the good ol' days! 😁

@kurtsh
In fairness, before Microsoft Office, we had Microsoft Works, and when you bought that one, they included the various components of Bookshelf as part of the bundle.

Bonus: the spreadsheet version of Works saved files directly in Lotus 1-2-3 format for maximum compatibility.

@lloydian We adapted Works spreadsheet to use the 123 format. I have a copy of "Works for DOS" in storage but never bothered saving a copy of "Works for Windows" cuz our office never kept copies.

Ever use "Microsoft Multiplan"? We were competing with "Visicalc" back then. Got a copy of that too. Wanna get nuts? Let's get nuts. This is the 1st Windows-based 16-bit accounting software we published. One of my personal favorites because it's so niche & frankly nobody used it. 😁

@kurtsh
Wow. Okay, never used Multiplan or Profit. That's fascinating.
