@JohnLoader6 I looked it up after reading your post. Our Mt. Pinatubo eruption in 1991 was rated a 6 on the Volcanic Explosivity Index. Yellowstone is rated 8, potentially a 100x more powerful than Pinatubo.
Let's hope it doesn't happen within our lifetime.
