BlueMaggots and Men is a 2009 experimental historical reenactment film that uses a cast of 70+ trans actors to tell the story of a group of Soviet sailors who defied the Bolshevik government over a strike at a factory being repressed. It is extraordinary. It is on vimeo and the Criterion Channel.
