@daringfireball Regarding the part about Huffman being solely responsible rather than reddit as a whole:

I’m not sure that’s true. Other reddit employees (primarily “FlyingLaserTurtle”) have also been making false & misleading public statements about Apollo in calls with moderators and reddit comments, and are continuing to do so in today’s AMA. Looks to me like a pervasive cultural thing at reddit.

@dale_price @daringfireball i listenedto the snippet of call recording and the communication in it is so bad and unexplained, there's no way I would want to do business with the Apollo developer. I think both parties have put themselves in a corner with bad decisions and there's no way to resolve this.
