Oblomov#askFedi I wanted to set up something to post aperiodic reminders on #Twitter to come to #Mastodon/the #Fediverse, and wanted to use something that goes through the web interface (for obvious reasons). I tried to cook up something with #PhantomJS, failing spectacularly. If anybody knows anything about something of the sort, recommendations are welcome.
Daniele Tricoli@oblomov IIRC development of #PhantomJS stopped years ago, maybe you could try #selenium as alternative.

@oblomov I just remembered also the name (never used this one) of another web testing framework: #playwright. Never used this one, but looking at the installation, it seems it doesn't need a driver in the middle between you program and the browser: maybe it would be easier to deploy something bot-like...
