ācause like- i didnāt know that cashapp basically only works in the US atm. =_=
i canāt get a paypal btw.
@FawnOverFun AFAIK both #CashApp & #Venmo are U.S. exclusive since they don't want to comply with stricter #AML laws in the #EU.
Sadly, #PayPal seems to basically be the monopoly, as #WeChatPay doesn't work outside of china and #AliPay won't tell you it doesn't work until after their #KYC shit.
Sadly, #Monero acceptance is basically nonexistant and #prepaid #debit card systems like #GeldKarte are not only rarely international and they decline hard like #SMS- & #MobileBanking.
@FawnOverFun And with the collapse of #WireCard as a #scam and #N26 being not very stable, there are a few debit CC issuers that basically rebrand #SolarisBank's products...
So yeah, AFAIK there isn't anything beyond #Monero #LightWallets like #Monerujo and non-KYC Exchanges like #LocalMonero to get fiat liquidity, which is obviously not even as remotely intuitive nor easy to use...
@FawnOverFun #PayPal being an asshole company that randomy closes accounts and refuses to explain why sadly is a common theme...
And no, it has nothing to do with one's ability to pay in time or credit rating or whatever: Ask @fuchsiii about her experience with them...
Personally I'd love to setup something as convenient as #CashApp, #Venmo or #PayPal but that would literally require a #BankLicense and they are the by far hardest to obtain business licenses in the world for obvious reasons.
I've worked for a payment processor and they literally had to employ a lawyer full-time just to expand their licensing even a bit...
It's compareatively a cakewalk to become a licensed machinegun builder in Germany.
