07.06.2023/Cuxhaven/Kiel. Support ocean research and learn more about the ocean in a changing climate: GEOMAR Helmholtz Centre for Ocean Research Kiel and Trans-Ocean –Verein zur Förderung des Hochseesegelns e.V. invite sailors on the Baltic Sea to collect scientific data. The project “Citizen Science: Sailing for Oxygen” will be launched during a stopover of the global regatta “The Ocean Race” on 9 June 2023 in Kiel. Initial pilot measurements will take place this summer. From the coming season, there will be more extensive opportunities for participation.
