AngelaAha. Funny thing about being a #birdnerd, you'd think this targeted ad on IG would have me at its mercy. But, alas, I am such a bird nerd I'm too busy nitpicking the finer anatomic details to feel truly tempted to spend money.
Not to sound like an awful embittered art critic, lol, they're beautiful pieces and obv take lots of time. The feather detail and general mien of each manu is lovely.
But... The heads. The heads and beaks are practically identical, and maybe the scale is off onscreen but the smaller bird figures don't seem distinct enough from one another, apart from the kōtare.
And if I personally was gonna splurge on a glass figure of a #nznative, I'd want truly painstaking detail.
