The #Bible has been removed from libraries in Utah after a parent used a new law that permits the removal of "pornographic".
The parent argued that the Bible contained topics such as incest, bestiality, genital mutilation, and infanticide, making it pornographic under the new definition set forth in Utah Code Ann. § 76-10-1227.
A GOP lawmaker expressed "sadness" regarding the situation.
Then define the scientific method as a faith-based religion, where the faith is based around believing in replicability, a faith in objectivity, and a faith in the consistency of physical reality.
Then it's impossible to ban. :D

Unfortunately by conflating science with faith, you're playing into the hands of those who take that tactic when it comes to denying established science. So it could ultimately weaken real science in popular opinion.
It's also rooted in Godel's Incompleteness Theorem, as well as Stallman's insight that gave rise to the GPL. :D

I'm not familiar with the incompleteness theorem, but I do know a bit about Stallman, Raymond and the GPL.
