Used to watch Tomorrow's World when young (was it before or after Top of the Pops?). Inventions seemed to be presented as potentially for the benefit of all. Or that's my memory of it anyway.
If it was still on it'd probably just be a schill for tech product press releases and news of the latest ego extension project of various man-baby oligarchs. #change #TV #BBC #Memories #technology #maudlin
@emsquared although, Click is the descendent of Tomorrow’s World in many ways – I don’t regularly watch it but when I do I’m usually left thinking that they did whatever they just did very well
@u0421793 is click still running? I used to catch it way back.

@emsquared I think so, I’m not sure at the moment – they moved to Glasgow recently and stopped for a while

They’re not on social media though (just twitter and facebook)

Click - Planes, Games and Automobiles

How far off are pilotless flights? Shiona McCallum travels to Toulouse to find out.

@bobthomson70 @u0421793 lost in the ether these days but good to know it's still out there.
@emsquared before @OldUKTVListings often features a 70s or 80s Thursday night and seeing that one two combo in the BBC1 listing always takes me right back to the early 80s.
@bobthomson70 @OldUKTVListings I loved Thursday night telly on the BBC back then (before Eastenders became the main evening fixture).
