Happy to inform you that #Horrendous still LOVE playing death metal. ☺️ #smilesformiles
I can’t say I don’t love seeing guys my own age goofing around and kicking ass like #Impaled. (and there’s always such a good Bay Area representation at this festival, I love it)
And speaking of antiquities, look at the white hair on our headliners #Autopsy! 🤘🖤

Alrighty, the three bands I enjoyed the most today. Denial of Life from Tacoma. Punky and fun, really charismatic singer!
This grim wall of deathdoomblackened something from #Abstracter. Brand new to me, and they delivered one of the most powerful sets of the weekend. I don’t know if this clip will do them justice … but thanks, Oakland!
And finally, the mighty #Drouth from Portland. Complex and riveting black/death, and they seem like great guys, too. 🖤

@dinozombie my pleasure! The venue is fantastic for a festival like this – actually two venues in the same building (NEUMOS/Barboza), run by the same people. And they time the sets so you can literally see every second of every band. Amazing.

@CalyxWorks wish I was there. I did get to see Hulder a little while back and Black Braid on the East coast. This week got to see Possessed. But a full weekend of stuff is insane especially with that lineup.
@deathseeker Hulder’s based out here so I’ve seen her several times – the (incredible) guitar player was at this festival as a common peasant like me. :)
Speaking of one-person projects touring with actual bands – how was Black Braid?
