I know it's hard, but I am telling you that you can't count on these guys being incompetent assclowns to stop them. The literal Nazi Party, in German, was full of cranks, losers, weirdos, and yes, assclowns, too. I'm not saying you shouldn't laugh at Elon and Ronny, you absolutely should. But don't let it convince you that these guys and other guys just like them, aren't a problem. In a society where rich people have no accountability, they can fail over and over until they finally break through
@AnarchoNinaWrites We have to be successful in *every* defense against the establishment of fascist doctrine. They only have to be successful *once* to establish fascist doctrine. The law of large numbers is on their side, unfortunately.

Elon and his ilk - tyranny - are actually quite fragile.

Not that there's never tragic outcomes, but people, when reasonably informed, make kindly, practical decisions.

Tyranny cultivate just-so myths to fashion a synthetic order that suits fascist objectives.

Paranoid, Purging nuance, never candid discourse.

Evidence.

They know.

Any wrong wisp of zeitgeist could collapse their house of card.

And they know it.

@alakest @AnarchoNinaWrites I don't know how you could have missed the point this badly, but here we are

@nbtentaclekitten @AnarchoNinaWrites At risk of an over-applied trope: *The emperor has no clothes*

But, until someone/something punches through the open secret, we're all stuck with oligarchs waving their junk in our faces in their ploy to get us to give in.

(I suspect in a Freudian recess of their psyches they relish the prospect of failure and exposure.)

Don't give in!

@nbtentaclekitten @AnarchoNinaWrites Dear debaters, terms like "every", "once", accepting censorship are things that were very Nazi, is this a really bad argument of mine?
@vladimirbrasil @AnarchoNinaWrites Yes, it is a very bad argument of yours, bye.

@vladimirbrasil @nbtentaclekitten "Perhaps it is you who are the real nazi?"

Lol; I've heard that one before Fritz. Here's your block, fascist muppet.

@AnarchoNinaWrites EXACTLY THAT IS THE PROBLEM:

The Nazis would not have been a problem if they never got even single percentages in the first place...

Those that vote for them - and everyone who chooses to not vote against them - is a proplem.

@kkarhan @AnarchoNinaWrites

Back in the day after people experienced fascists, they knew how to deal with em.

@AnarchoNinaWrites exactly. I'm gonna giggle like a small child over ron's failures, but in no way am I going to let myself get complacent thinking they'll just go away because of them.
@AnarchoNinaWrites its why Elon Musk is the most dangerous man on the planet. Trump is a fake billionaire. Musk is real. Musk can afford to fail. He'll keep spending until he stumbles on the misinformation program that resonates.
@AnarchoNinaWrites "never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups." attributed to Carlin and Heinlein had "never underextimate the power of human stupidity". Along with goebbels rhetoric on telling the big lie, people will be swayed. They're looking for hope and answers. Doesn't matter if the answers don't fit anything within their scope of reason, someone "of respect and authority" spoke it. They will follow with their dreams in abeyance. It's the lie the soothes.
@twicebittenthasme @AnarchoNinaWrites I like to summarize it as "None of us are as dumb as all of us."
@AnarchoNinaWrites Remember that Nazi was not their name for themselves. It was an insulting nickname based on Ignatz being thought of as a name for farmers in Bavaria. It's a shortening of National Socialist and that made it work and stick. Kind of like calling someone a bunch of Rubes in English.

#whoLetTheDadsOut
ooh. It's time to turn those clowns upside down.
@AnarchoNinaWrites the person funding Desantis is the same backer as Obama.
they are dangerous as well as ridiculous ..
@AnarchoNinaWrites
Mussolini lucked his way into power by threatening a very weak government with a 'huge coup' that was actually a few hundred of his followers descending on Rome by train.
Hitler failed embarrassingly at the Beer Hall Putsch, then after a few years in jail, he won power at the *second * election his party stood. Even after that, he was largely considered a clown. It's *hindsight * that we look at both of them with.
@AnarchoNinaWrites As I see censorship - nowadays, at least, a left wing behavior - was very Nazi.

@AnarchoNinaWrites

I get it now ...

Then: One evil billionaire rapist and sexual assaulting grifter was barely elected as POTUS in 2016 to do evil.

Now: A poor Nazi with his even richer evil billionaire puppet are trying to recreate the legacy of the 2016 evil billionaire rapist to lead the US.

Lesson: Bring a billionaire into a race for the highest elective office in the US is really fucking dangerous to the country and the world in general. That's my take on it, at least.

@AnarchoNinaWrites "you can't count on these guys being incompetent assclowns to stop them."

I heartily agree with that assessment.

@AnarchoNinaWrites what seems to be happening to me is that they’re incompetent but they’re still all pulling in the same direction

Where as you have democrats and leftists and centrists that recognize them as bad, but to varying levels, and there’s no concerted opposition

Still seeing people on Reddit for example saying you shouldn’t punch nazis because punching them plays into their hand 🤦🏽‍♂️

@AnarchoNinaWrites assclown. Love that word will add it to my repertoire because I see a lot of them where I work
@AnarchoNinaWrites People think that shit posting and outrage posts will be enough. I realize that, for some people, it's the only vehicle. But it will not be enough.
@AnarchoNinaWrites oh those creeps are a huge problem. And don’t kid yourself: “Ask not who the shithole countries are. Ask why so many in power are working to turn your country into a shithole country.”
@AnarchoNinaWrites @davidgerard the thing that struck me the most when reading Shirer’s Rise and Fall was how merciless he was about the simple fact that the Nazis and the Italian fascists were puffed up gangs of street criminals, and _everyone knew it_ yet how nothing about that stopped both Italy and Germany from taking the full ride.
