Monarchs travel further but during daylight.

Well, they used to, but the Milkweed is becoming extinct, and that is the main thing a Monarch feeds on.

As a result, the Monarchs are going extinct.

Why is the Milkweed going extinct? Global Warming. The seeds will not sprout unless they have endured a hard freeze.

Crazy, counter-intuitive stuff.
