Aside from the obvious angle of the article linked here, I think this might be the first time I’ve seen a relatively high profile web page make such a big deal out of a reduced motion toggle. I’m very impressed.

@philsherry I like this dialogue window. It shows care. Also, it doubly makes it clear whether the 'reduced motion' setting if on or off (text + labels close to the toggle).

While we’ve all seen plenty of dark/light mode switches, this is the first time I’d even thought about a switch for this rather than just the developer “deciding” one way or the other in the CSS.

But… but it… just makes SENSE!? 😅

@philsherry it definitely does! 🙂 I wish more people/companies let us implement clearer components. I keep hearing people saying they never understand when toggles are active – I struggle, too
